This guidance manual was developed to assist workplaces with limited resources to comply with the regulation in Manitoba and to protect the health of all workers. Risks are divided into three levels:
1. Conditions where risk to workers is low and action not likely.
2. Conditions where there is a risk to workers and basic steps are described that can be implemented by the safety committee.
3. Conditions where risks are difficult to define and professional help should be obtained.
